Legends

Psalm 92 :14 They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green, 15 to declare that the LORD is upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

 A distinctive feature of Heights City Church is that we are a truly multigenerational church family. A quick glance over the faces present at most gatherings will reveal a fair proportion of the over 60’s. Although involved at almost every level of church life, the over 60’s meet together regularly for fellowship and encouragement in God’s Word, testimony and Prayer, sprinkled with a breakfast or a tea.

 We are “THE LEGENDS”.

 You may ask why “the Legends”, I would strongly advise you to sit down with some of our Legends, and talk to them, it will become apparent, they are truly Godly men and women. Richly equipped with life’s experiences

Each one has great stories to tell, and a deep heart of thanksgiving to impart. This group of saints has collectively served the Lord for literally 100’s of years. The battles they have fought in life and in the spiritual realm, so ably demonstrates the wonderful truth that an intimate relationship with Jesus transforms the “inner man” to become increasingly like our Lord and Saviour.

 “The Legends” meet at 9:30 a.m. on the 3rd Thursday morning of each month. This is a clarion call to  join us—all are welcome!
